Our clinically validated x-ray test plates consist of 3 cm-thick plates that can be imaged to visualise accurate x-ray replicas of patient-derived images or artificial radiographic scenes. The plates can be imaged on their own or used as a background to other x-ray phantoms to create a highly realistic radiographic simulation environment. They are ideal for demonstrating x-ray systems, testing new software, settings, or AI, while reducing the need to expose volunteers and staff to x-rays in research settings.
| WHAT CAN BE PRACTISED
• Test x-ray software and AI • Compare x-ray machine settings • Imaging equipment training and demos |
TRAINING SETTINGS
• Research laboratories • X-ray system demonstrations • Radiographer training • Catheterisation laboratories |
EDUCATIONAL VALUE
• Reduces reliance on staff or volunteers for training and R&D • Repeatable scene for software and setting comparisons, including AI • Adds realistic backgrounds to other X-ray phantoms |
| TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Thickness: 3 cm Maximum dimensions: 20 × 20 cm Weight: ~750 g typical; approximately 500–1000 g Imaging: 2D X-ray Compatibility: Radiography and fluoroscopy Scene: Customisable patient-derived or artificial radiographic image on request. |
INTENDED TRAINING APPLICATION
• X-ray software testing • X-ray AI testing • X-ray machine demonstrations • Comparison of imaging settings • Staff training • Background imaging for other X-ray phantoms • Patient-like radiographic simulation |
USAGE AND LIFESPAN
|
EASY LOGISTICS LOW MAINTENANCE The plates are designed to be thin and relatively light; they are made of plastic and do not expire |
EASY TO USE
PLACE AND SCAN The plates can be directly imaged with no additional preparation. Markings on the side indicate correct placement. |
CUSTOM-MADE ARTIFICIAL/HUMAN DATA We can make custom test plates using your own greyscale images. |
